GROW
ADULT GROUPS & MINISTRIES
BIBLE & BREW
From October to April (usually on First Wednesdays) at City Kitchen in Grosse Pointe, church members gather to learn about the Bible together. Led by Rev. Dr. Lou Prues and Pastor Matt Nickel, this group explores close readings of scripture, with a beverage. Enjoy some good questions, laughs, and interesting conversation about the Bible. To learn more about themes and upcoming events, check out the group page on Facebook.
BRUNCH BUNCH
Occasionally through the year church members go out for brunch to enjoy good food, food company, and good conversation. Look for events in the Sunday bulletin and announcements.
MEN'S MINISTRY
Each year the men of the church will get together for breakfast, the annual cookout, or for service.
PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
On the first Monday of each month, Presbyterian Women gather to study and conversion.
SLOW BREWED THEOLOGY
Drink, think, and brew meaningful conversation with us about faith, doubt, and transformation. This group meets monthly on a Sunday evening at the the Kresge Estate, 74 Arden Park Boulevard in Detroit. For upcoming opportunities, check out the group page on Facebook.
SMALL GROUPS
There are seasonal small groups that meet to talk about faith, a sermon series, or a book together.
SUNDAY FORUM
One Sunday a month from September to April, the Sunday Forum meets monthly after worship (around 11:45 AM) in Zaun Chapel to learn about an issue, organization, or mission partner that is involved in our city.
TABLES FOR FRIENDS
Four times a year, we gather in small groups of 8-10 in homes for a light meal. It is a great way to get to know our fellow church members and enjoy the company of church friends.
THE CREW
This group gets together to engage in some of the amazing culture that Detroit offers. From museums, to theatre, to event, the Crew takes in the life Detroit together.
TWO-WHEELED CHURCH
When summertime comes, our pedal-powered church members get their bicycles out for some great rides through the city. With a relaxed pace and a planned route, it is always a good time.
