Mission Committee Mission Statement
Nourishing bodies, souls, and minds, the Mission Committee seeks to extend God's love to those in our neighborhood and community through various outreaches.

Activities:
Friday Food Distribution
Every Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the church parking lot.
Distribution of food staples to those in need including 250+ meals produced by Make Food Not Waste's chefs from reclaimed food for our Friday guests. Handout of feminine hygiene items weekly and partnership with Happy Cheeks of twice a year to distribute socks and underwear.

Every Kid Eats (E.K.E.)
EKE provides 30 bags of food for students at Nichols School who may not have access to food over the weekend. Committee members shop, pack, and deliver the bags on Friday during the school year.

Food, Hygiene and Household item drives
The Mission Committee sponsors several food, hygiene, and household items drives throughout the year to distribute to our Friday food distribution guests.

Angel Tree
The Angel Tree Party happens every Christmas Season. It offers incarcerated individuals a chance to give gifts to their loved ones provided by church members. A party is hosted to get the presents distributed and also mittens and books are made available to those attending.

Informative Outreaches
The Mission Committee sponsors several informative outreaches for our Friday guests throughout the year. Voter registration, Area Council on Aging, book distributions, and a health fair are just some of the events hosted.
